Check Seal™ 357Pis a non-curing sealant that contains a blend of non-asbestos fibers in synthetic oils. It works great on valve packing and wire wrap fugitive emission repairs, and is specifically designed for high temperature hydrocarbon service up to 750°F.
Check Seal™ 38P is a sealant compound containing TFE-fluorocarbon particles blended into a synthetic binder. It can be either pre-formed manually or pumped into place with a high pressure (10,000 psi) grease gun. 38P is chemically stable and resistant to most chemicals over a wide pH range. It is a highly versatile and durable self molding sealant used for stuffing boxes and for all types of valves, pumps and mechanical equipment.
Check Seal™ 3B semi-pliable rubber at temperatures up to 700˚F, and is effective as a primary or secondary sealant. It has been successfully used as a secondary micro-void sealant after initial sealant becomes cracked and worm holed.
Check Seal™ 42 is a hand-mixable, fast curing, epoxy putty that can be ready for use in just one minute. One hour after mixing, Check Seal™ 42 can be drilled, sawed, sanded, filed, tapped, machined or painted. Packaged in a “no mess” 4 oz. “tootsie-roll” application, the curing agent is encapsulated in the contrasting resin, eliminating drips and runs and requiring no tools. It provides fast repairs to many surfaces including metals, wood, glass, concrete, ceramics and numerous plastics. Approved for NSF 61 applications.
Check Seal™ 45Pis a sealant designed for wet or dry chlorine service. 45P is a highly versatile and durable self molding packing used for stuffing boxes and for all types of valves, pumps and mechanical equipment.
Check Seal™ 4AB is a two-component sealant that cures to a relatively hard, but flexible solid. The most common usage of Check Seal™ 4AB is in repairing water, steam leaks to temperatures as high as 550˚F. It can be used with acids, alkalis, hydrocarbons, ammonia and BFW.
Check Seal™ 55 R is an elastomeric, nitrile rubber type sealant that cures hard and works great on hot condensate or boiler feedwater leaks. It can be injected by a high-pressure sealant/lubricator gun.
Check Seal™ 6B is a valve sealant designed for use in high temperatures up to 800˚F. It is also available in high purity grade for nuclear and turbine applications.
Check Seal™ 8AB is a two-component sealant that cures to an elastomeric plastic consistency for extreme shock resistance. It is recommended for cyclical or shock applications.
Check Seal™ 9B is a is a thermosetting resin reinforced with a fibrous bulk. This sealant works great with boiler-feed water and hot condensate leaks. Temperatures to 800˚F.
Check Seal™ 9Fis a thermosetting resin with a special fiber package for improved sealing traits and higher temperature characteristics. This sealant works great with dry, high temperature steam such as flue gas or catalyst. Temperature range: 200˚F to 1500˚F.
Check Seal™ 9R is a viscous, liquid thermosetting resin that cures upon the application of heat to form a very hard-set solid sealant, blocking leak paths. As it begins to cure, it forms a chemically resistant, insoluble solid that is effective in thread and gasket applications to 700˚F and with added fibers can be used in applications to 1500˚F.
Check Seal™ HTS is a heavily fibrous sealant designed for use at temperatures up to 700˚F. HTS works great for a wide variety of leaks with its fibrous characteristics, such as leaking valve seats, this sealing is accomplished without affecting valve operation. Other uses include steam valve packings, steam union leaks, steam wire wraps and steam valve bonnets.
