Chemola™ Desco 347 Die Saver

Die Lube and Forging Compound

Chemola™ Desco 347 Die Saver is a black, semi-fluid petroleum base compound developed for use in harsh, extreme temperature applications. Solid film lubrication withstands temperatures far beyond fluid capabilities. Chemola™ Desco 347 Die Saver’s semi-fluid consistency will allow excellent adhesion to hot dies. Chemola™ Desco 347 Die Saver will prevent damage to the work-piece and die, extending die life by reducing friction and preventing metal-to-metal galling.

Extreme temperatures cause the fluid portion of Chemola™ Desco 347 Die Saver to rapidly deteriorate, however, the solid lubrication film left behind will continue to protect the work-piece and die. The fluid portion’s function is to act as a carrier for the solid lubricants.

Chemola™ Desco Super Penetrant is a clear, all purpose industrial penetrating oil. It is scientifically formulated for maximum penetration to give faster breakout. It can be used for all dismantling jobs throughout the plant, shop, rig or wherever metal parts are hard to operate or are frozen by corrosion. The lubricant in Super Penetrant is an extreme pressure oil that plates quickly onto metal surfaces. This allows the threads to be loosened while all the metal surfaces are coated to prevent galling. Super Penetrant can be used as a protective coating for freshly machined surfaces. This product should not be confused with ordinary penetrating oils. This premium penetrating oil handles your easy jobs, your hard jobs, and your impossible jobs.

Wire Cable Lubricant and Dressing

Chemola™ Desco WLD-120 is a synthetic base, fast-penetrating, adhesive, thin-film, extreme pressure, light bodied wire rope lubricant made for pour-on or drip system application without heating. It reduces internal and external friction, abrasive wear and bending stresses. The special non-hardening synthetic lubricant has an affinity for metals and provides protection against corrosion from weather. A special carrier moves quickly through old grease to lubricate the important inner strands by carrying with it the needed lubricants. The penetrating chemical evaporates and leaves a micro-thin layer of lubricant on every strand. WLD-120 is effective in reducing the internal abrasion of wires rubbing against each other during the bending and stressing of the wire rope in operation.

ThredOn™ Enviro-Lube

Biodegradable Extreme Pressure Lubricant

ThredOn™ Enviro-Lube is a technologically advanced, biodegradable grease used in auto-lubrication jackup systems, windmill installation and service vessels and jackup rigs. The environmentally-friendly lubricant contains no solids or particles, provides excellent corrosion protection and adheres to wet surfaces over a wide temperature range.

Major manufactures of auto-lubrication systems have extensively tested Enviro-Lube. They have both approved and recommended the product based on its pumpability, sprayability, extreme pressure capability and adhesive quality over a wide temperature range. Very few companies receive this approval and Enviro-Lube is the first recipient that is Y1 certified.
