Chemola Desco CP37 SAGD is a premium, water insoluble synthetic valve lubricant formulated for extremely high temperatures.
It was recently tested by a major operator against eight other lubricants making the same claims. During the test a refurbished valve containing new gates and seats was filled with each of the trial greases. After 40 days of service with temperatures ranging from 148 C to 267 C, the valves were disassembled and inspected. The only grease that maintained its pliability, tackiness and ability to lubricate and seal was Chemola Desco CP37 SAGD.
