Check Seal™ 9R is a viscous, liquid thermosetting resin that cures upon the application of heat to form a very hard-set solid sealant, blocking leak paths. As it begins to cure, it forms a chemically resistant, insoluble solid that is effective in thread and gasket applications to 650˚F and with added fibers can be used in applications to 1500˚F.
It is used in a wide variety of industrial applications including sealing threaded pipes or tool joints, gaskets, equipment joints and flanges.
Steam, boiler feed water, acids, alkalis, ammonia, hydraulic fluids, hydrocarbons, refrigerants and propane CAUTION: Some of the additives in the steam and bfw can kill the cure.
